The Front Desk Clerk serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional and efficient administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately
Schedule and coordinate meetings, including managing conference room calendars
Ensure all visitors sign required safety documentation upon arrival
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including:
Preparing and sending packages via USPS and UPS
Picking up and sorting incoming mail
Distributing mail to appropriate staff members
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area
Provide administrative support to the leadership team as needed
Assist with data entry, filing, and document organization
Order and maintain office supplies inventory
Support coordination of office events, meetings, and team activities
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Previous administrative or front desk experience
Experience with multi-line phone systems
Familiarity with shipping platforms (USPS, UPS)
Basic knowledge of office safety procedures
Work Environment:
Office setting with frequent interaction with employees and visitors
May require occasional lifting of packages (up to 25 lbs)
