Odyssey is a full-scale K-12 Charter School currently serving 2,000 students. Our School has a growing dual immersion program, innovative green Initiative, community food program, and high academic outcomes. Odyssey is united in our mission to prepare lifelong learners who are culturally aware, global citizens that utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills grounded in the classical teachings of Greek education and language. This approach trains students to use the Socratic Method and inquiry approach to learning while leveraging their unique skills and talents in an equitable and democratic manner to create a positive culture where all students can find success.
Establish a positive, warm and welcoming introduction to the School by embracing and embodying OCS Mission and Values at all times. Assure the smooth and efficient operation of the School office as directed by direct supervisor and School Leadership. Properly and timely enroll the school. Provide positive support to all Odyssey Charter School staff and students.

The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) provides educational support to residents from birth through adulthood. DDOE supports Delaware public schools – which includes 19 school districts and 23 charter schools – with resources, professional development, grant access and more so that all Delaware students are ready for success in college, career and life.
DDOE additionally manages educator licensure and certification, registers homeschools, facilitates adult and prison education programs, supports early learning and higher education institutes, and facilitates additional programs as outlined in Delaware Code.
Delaware education policies, laws, and regulations are often formed in partnership with local educators and stakeholders, the State Board of Education, the Professional Standards Board and the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA).
