Job Description

Earn $20-$23 per hour during supervisor shifts while continuing to earn tipped income through scheduled server and bartender shifts at an established brewery restaurant in Northwest Philadelphia.

This hybrid leadership role is designed for experienced hospitality professionals looking to transition into restaurant management without sacrificing the earning potential of serving and bartending. Typical weekly earnings range from approximately $850-$1,000 through a combination of hourly supervisor pay and tipped shifts.

You'll help lead a team of approximately 15-20 employees, working directly alongside restaurant leadership to support daily operations, service standards, training, and the guest experience. Management actively develops employees from within, creating opportunities for long-term growth.

Compensation

  • $20-$23 per hour during supervisor shifts
  • $5.83 per hour plus tips during server and bartender shifts

Schedule

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required
  • Wednesday and Thursday evening availability required
  • Walk-in interviews welcome Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (appointments preferred)

About the Role

This hybrid position combines Front of House supervision with server and bartender responsibilities.

You'll work closely with restaurant leadership to support daily operations, supervise the floor during busy service periods, maintain service standards, and help develop a strong hospitality team.

This role is ideal for experienced hospitality professionals who want to transition into restaurant management while remaining actively involved in guest service and maintaining tipped earning opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily front-of-house operations
  • Supervise service and maintain smooth floor execution
  • Help lead a team of approximately 15-20 employees
  • Serve and bartend as part of scheduled shifts
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery
  • Assist with employee training and development
  • Support scheduling and shift organization
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory management
  • Maintain food safety and service standards
  • Support communication between management and staff

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of restaurant supervisory or management experience preferred
  • 3+ years of serving or bartending experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Experience coaching and supporting team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand and move throughout shifts
