Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and profitability. This role involves managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The primary focus will be on running the floor, but light admin and other tasks may be assigned as well.

We’re looking for a hands-on, positive and upbeat people-first FOH Manager who thrives in the middle of the action and knows how to lead a team while keeping the guest experience front and center.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Floor
- Direct and support FOH staff during service to ensure smooth, efficient operations
- Lead by example—jump into any role (host, food runner, bartender, server support, etc.) as needed
- Manage shift flow including seating, pacing, and staff deployment
- Ensure the restaurant stays clean, organized, and visually on point at all times
Own the Guest Experience
- Deliver and enforce exceptional hospitality standards
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and recovery with professionalism and urgency
- Create the atmosphere—lighting, music, energy, and overall vibe
- Ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and taken care of
Drive Team Performance
- Train, coach, and develop FOH team members
- Assist in onboarding and training great team memebers
- Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing training initiatives
- Hold staff accountable for service standards, side work, and performance
Manage Operations
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring the restaurant is fully prepared for service
- Assign sections, manage cuts, and adjust staffing based on business levels
- Approve comps, voids, and discounts with proper documentation
- Ensure completion of all side work, cleaning, and resets
Maintain Standards
- Ensure food and beverage quality leaving the kitchen meets expectations
- Enforce responsible alcohol service and ID checks
- Maintain cleanliness across dining room, restrooms, and service areas
- Communicate with BOH to ensure alignment on service and quality
Support the Business
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and cost control
- Help monitor inventory and order supplies when needed
- Support administrative tasks like reports, cash handling, and shift notes
- Communicate maintenance or facility issues promptly

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
