Red Gum BBQ is located in one of the nation’s most picturesque wine and food regions. We take pride in being the nation’s only Hatted BBQ B-Corp certified restaurant which speaks to our focus on authenticity, quality and attention to detail. We are on the hunt for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Front of House Superstars to join our team.

About the Role

As a Front of House team member, you'll be the face of Red Gum BBQ for our guests, taking orders, serving our delicious food and drinks and ensuring everyone leaves with the best Red Gum experience possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with setting up and packing down events.
  • Understand dietary requirements and ensure guests are served appropriate meals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations and a high level of guest satisfaction.

About You

  • Loves working with people and brings a positive energy to every shift.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are a master of multitasking.
  • Great communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Is flexible and reliable with availability on weekends and evenings.
  • You’re passionate about BBQ, community, and creating unforgettable moments.
  • Hospitality or Customer Service experience (a bonus but not essential, for the rigth person we can teach the skills)

About Red Gum BBQ

Australia’s BBQ Mecca is the Mornington Peninsula’s coolest new BBQ and Beer Hall. With rustic country vibes, fine local wines, exceptional craft beer on tap and the best Aussie-smoked, American-style BBQ this side of the equator.

We exclusively use free range meat and source local and seasonal ingredients.

Meats are traditionally smoked for 12-16 hours using native Australian hardwoods in Ruby and Big Red – our giant Texas offset steel ‘pits’. We believe that the time and devotion that goes into our menu is the key to our amazing food.
