And we want you.We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. This role is located on site at Bell’s Rotors Service Center facility in Fort Worth, TX.This role is for first shift and works a 9/80 schedule. Must be able to accommodate working multiple shifts as needed by the business. Will have mandatory OT weekend work shift (on a rotational basis).Quality Front Line LeaderThe Front-Line Leader (Quality Supervisor) will be responsible for leading the daily quality activities for union-covered employees to support a production environment.Will also be responsible for driving performance, safety, quality of work, managing cost, and managing employee relations. What you’ll be doing as a Quality Front Line Leader: Directly responsible for the productivity of the team and assigned quality objectives. Evaluate business impact regarding metrics, activity reports, delivery schedules, manpower, etc.Able to manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.Ability to achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Engineering, Programs, etc.).Ability to develop, support, and implement process improvements.Effective interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organization skills.
What You Need to Be Successful: High School Diploma/GED is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred A minimum of five years’ directly related Quality experience in a leadership or management role in aerospace /automotive/manufacturing industries is preferred. (We will also consider leaders or managers from aerospace/automotive manufacturing industries with a quality mindset not just requiring direct quality experience).
