And we want you.We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.

This position is onsite in Wichita, Kansas. The work shift is Monday through Thursday, reporting at 6:00AM to 4:30PM.

Front-Line Leader – Wichita, KSThe Front-Line Leader will be responsible for leading the daily activities for employees to support a production environment for the FLRAA aircraft.Responsible for driving performance, safety, quality of work, managing cost, and managing employee relations. What you’ll be doing as a Front-Line Leader:· Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.· Ability to create and implement procedures and standard work, process improvements or best practices.· Ability to achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions.· Ensure compliance of existing protocols (tool calibration, tool control, operator training and qualification, etc)· Coordinate with maintenance and facilities to ensure work orders are submitted and completed· Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary. · Utilize metrics driven accountability for performance such as TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring to This Role:· High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.· At least 2 years of production/manufacturing supervisory experience in airframe and structural assembly. Preferred experience with fuselage assembly. · Able to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed.· Experience directing the daily manufacturing activities of employees within their assigned area to complete required work.· Excellent communicator with oral and written communications skills, be goal-oriented, data driven, with strong sense of urgency. · Creative, entrepreneurial, and an empowering leader with strong organizational, human relations and problem-solving skills.· Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, internal and external customers, and brief leaders as required.· We are looking for inquisitive and driven individual with a passion to innovate.· This candidate must have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive employee engagement and accountability.· Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.· Experience with 3DX, SAP, and/or PEO is a plus.NOTE: Bell/Textron Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.What we offer you in return:· Monday-Thursday 4x10 work schedule· 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)· 120 hours Vacation time· 12-13 paid holidays per year· 6 weeks parental leave· Tuition reimbursement· Competitive salary· Comprehensive health insurance· Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups· And so much moreNOTE: Bell/Textron Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.It’s time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
