
The Front-End Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the front-end operations of the can-making manufacturing process, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves leading a team, optimizing processes, and maintaining equipment to meet production targets while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
Responsible and-required-to notify management about actual or potential food safety-issues;?and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in can making or metal packaging, along with prior supervisory or managerial experience.
Strong technical expertise in can-making equipment, including cuppers, body makers, and trimmers, as well as familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery and automated production systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities are key, along with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and a focus on continuous improvement are also critical for success in this role.
The ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal software programs).
