Carrera Técnico o Bachillerato tecnológico en Maquinas y herramientas, Mecanica, Mecatronica, afin a procesos productivos.
As a Front End Mechanic at Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V., you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicle front-end systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and alignment.
Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicle front-end components, including steering, suspension, and braking systems.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in front-end systems using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
* Execute repairs and replacements of worn or damaged parts, such as ball joints, tie rods, control arms, shocks, struts, and wheel bearings.
* Conduct wheel alignments (two-wheel and four-wheel) using specialized alignment equipment.
* Perform brake system inspections, repairs, and replacements (pads, rotors, calipers).
* Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
* Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and recommended repairs.
* Keep work area clean and organized, and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or ASE certification preferred.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a front-end mechanic or general automotive technician.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing steering, suspension, and brake systems.
* Strong understanding of vehicle alignment principles and experience with alignment equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
