Job Description

This role, part of the Front-End Innovations (FEI) Team, focuses on hardware-centric proof-of-concept development, analytics, and rigorous testing to validate new product concepts for the PROCELL B2B business. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making, hardware optimization, and system-level integration to ensure robust performance in real-world environments.
The individual will work closely with senior FEI engineers to design, build, and test prototypes, conduct detailed data analysis, and develop automation tools for testing workflows. This role also includes ownership of PoC deployments, ensuring successful implementation and feedback integration from field trials.

Location: Atlanta, Science Square

Travel: Up to 10%.

  • Develop deep understanding of PROCELL’s hardware/firmware platforms and testing protocols.

  • Lead proof-of-concept hardware builds and validation testing, including environmental and performance characterization.
    Design and implement Python-based automation scripts for test execution, data acquisition, and reporting.

  • Perform data analytics on test results to identify trends, optimize designs, and improve reliability.

  • Collaborate on sensor integration and wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa) for prototype systems.

  • Develop and maintain test frameworks and dashboards for monitoring PoC feature performance.
    Optimize hardware for power consumption, durability, and feature enhancements.

  • Act as product owner for FEI PoC deployments, ensuring timely execution and actionable feedback.

  • Provide clear technical updates to management on progress, risks, and outcomes.

• Education: B.S. or higher in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hardware and data analysis.
• At least 2+ years in development of IoT based systems preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Python (automation, data analysis).
• Strong experience in data analysis techniques and application to large data sets.
• Experience with web application development for prototypes or dashboards.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microprocessor architecture, and real-time operating systems.
• Experience leveraging continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, along with GitHub.
• Practical experience integrating AI tools into design and development flows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and IoT ecosystems.
• Knowledge of sensor systems and wireless technologies.
• Experience with battery technologies or energy products is a plus.
• Highly motivated, organized, and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, geographically dispersed team.
• Stronge sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel (up to 10%).
• Resilient, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity. Open-minded, self-starter and “can do” approach.
