This is a B2B contractor opportunity for candidates based in Croatia.

What you will be doing as a Front End Developer (React) at Elixirr Digital?

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using React and related technologies to deliver engaging user experiences
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards, ensuring high quality and scalability
• Optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness, providing seamless user experiences across various devices and browsers
• Debug and resolve frontend issues promptly, conducting thorough testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality, maintainability, and compliance with project requirements
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and provide regular project updates
• Mentor frontend developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team

Competencies and skillset we expect you to have to successfully perform your job:

• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with React.js, React Hooks, and React Context.
• Experience building responsive UI components using Tailwind CSS and modern component libraries such as shadcn-ui/Radix.
• Solid understanding of modern CSS, responsive design, and reusable frontend architecture.
• Familiarity with REST API integration using Axios and frontend-backend communication patterns.
• Experience working with Azure-based authentication solutions, including MSAL SSO.
• Exposure to complex frontend workflows such as drag-and-drop interfaces, file uploads, and PDF viewers.
• Comfortable working in modern frontend environments using Vite, ESLint, Git/GitHub, and collaborative agile workflows.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with backend, QA, DevOps, and AI engineering teams.

Nice-to-have experience:

• Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem, including MSAL, Blob Storage SDK, and App Service hosting.
• Experience with PDF rendering solutions such as pdf.js or iframe-based viewers.
• Exposure to FastAPI/Python backend integrations.
• Experience within insurance, benefits, or document-extraction domains.
• Comfort working on incremental refactors and parallel V1/V2 migrations.
