Front Door Technician

$18/hr - $20/hr DOE

We're looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Front Door Team and play a key role in putting the finishing touches on every boat before it reaches our customers.

What You'll Do

As a Front Door Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring every boat meets Sea Fox's high standards of quality and appearance before moving to the final detailing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and complete kits, including decals, safety information, windscreens, and related components.

  • Perform final fit-and-finish work on completed boats.

  • Conduct thorough self-inspections before Quality Control review.

  • Complete assigned items from Quality Control checklists.

  • Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and other departments to ensure all required work is completed.

  • Communicate regularly with Quality Control inspectors to ensure a complete, high-quality product advances through production.

  • Maintain productivity while meeting daily and weekly production goals.

  • Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean, organized, and in excellent condition.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

  • Assist with training and mentoring team members as needed.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Passion for boating and the marine industry.

  • Knowledge of boat manufacturing processes is a plus.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Familiarity with shipping and transportation processes is preferred.

  • Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous manufacturing, marine, assembly, or production experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the manufacturing facility and shipping yard for extended periods.

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
