Position Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere. This role manages the front desk, answers phones, directs visitors, and provides clerical support to facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones courteously, direct calls, and take accurate messages.
• Welcome and direct visitors, vendors, and applicants; maintain visitor log.
• Provide accurate information to residents, families, and staff as requested.
• Sort and distribute mail, packages, and messages promptly.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and data entry.
• Support survey readiness through professional conduct and accurate records.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational and clerical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and phone systems.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare or office reception role.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Prolonged sitting with occasional walking and standing.
• Ability to lift 5--40 lbs and push wheelchairs as needed.
