Employment Type: Part-Time, hourly

Shifts: Closing, 5:45pm to 10:15pm, weeknights and 3:00pm - 7:15pm, weekends

Position Overview

As our closing Service Motivator, you lead the front desk through our busiest hours and close the club, so it is ready for the next morning. Your role is to create memorable experiences and guide guests toward joining the gym, and both are expected every shift. We provide full training, and many of our managers began their careers in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Member Experience and Growth

• Greet every member by first name and every guest with a smile
• Maintain front desk security by making sure every member and guest is checked in
• Make every member and guest experience memorable
• Answer phone calls and questions about the club and services
• Lead tours and help guests choose the membership that best fits their goals
• Enroll new members and introduce personal training and other club services
• Follow up with guests after their visits

Closing and Club Operations

• Complete all closing procedures, confirm every member has safely exited, and secure the building
• Reset the fitness floor, locker rooms, and front desk, and update the shift log for the opening team
• Process retail and membership transactions
• Assist members with account and billing questions, escalating issues to management as needed
• Log maintenance needs and report safety concerns or incidents to management
• Support additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, and genuinely motivated to help people
• Comfortable talking with anyone, in person and by phone
• Able to manage multiple tasks and stay composed during busy periods
• Comfortable using computers and basic software
• Dependable and punctual
• Available for evenings, including some weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled
• Must be CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Compensation and Benefits

• $17.13 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Environment

You'll be on your feet for the entire shift and must be comfortable with that. This role also requires moving throughout the club and lifting up to 55 lbs. Evenings are our busiest hours, with steady member traffic, music, and equipment noise.

Compensation: $17.13 - $18.00 per hour
