
Front Desk Receptionist - Weekends
Registers and directs clients and their animals to the correct waiting area; creates, reviews and updates electronic client and patient health records; establishes patient appointments in electronic scheduling system; collects payments at the time of patient discharge and accurately documents the payments in an electronic record; communicates and listens carefully to provide outstanding customer service; receives and routes telephone calls and messages from clients and veterinarians to appropriate staff.
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; a minimum of one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a medical office, medical clinic, or in a mental health office; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Customer service experience. Experience in processing multiple calls using excellent phone etiquette; excellent communication and computer stills, including proper grammar and spelling; cash handling skills. Experience in a fast-paced customer service setting; excellent customer service and proven empathy skills.
