Job Shift: Day ShiftRothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a full time Front Desk Receptionist based in our Willow Grove, PA office!
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM and Wednesday 7 AM to 2 PM; OFF Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Summary:
The MRI Front Desk Receptionist greets, instructs, directs, and schedules patients and visitors. This individual serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff.
Key Accountabilities:
Increased patient satisfaction, co-pay collection, referral capture, time stamping accuracy, accuracy in demographic and insurance capture, time management (attendance and overtime), chart prep for insurance, co-pay and referral, and cross training to assist in other areas.

Essential Duties:
- Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Checks in patients, verifies and updates demographic and insurance information in all appropriate places.
- Screen and schedule appointments in a timely manner.
- Assists patients with ambulatory difficulties.
- Answers telephone in a timely and professional manner, screens calls, answers any questions that are within the area of the positions responsibility, forwards calls, or takes message for preassigned person.
- Collects and verifies applicable insurance co-pay information and authorizations.
- Batches out and balances end of day payments.
- Re-supplies front desk for the day.
- Pulling and scanning of MRI reports into appropriate applications as necessary.
- Prints out all related paperwork for patients’ appointments.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Assist in rectifying any billing corrections as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED minimum education requirement
- Minimum of one (1) year’s experience in medical office environment
- Knowledge of business office procedures & medical terminology (preferred)
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite
Pay Range:
$16.00/hr - $22.00/hr
