Within our INSEAD Asia Campus located at the One-North district in Singapore, we have an in-house hotel, Residences. INSEAD’s Residences has 133 rooms and they are mainly catered for short stays for our Executive Education and Executive Degree participants as well as visiting staff and faculty.
INSEAD is seeking a Front Desk Executive to join INSEAD’s Residences, in Operations and Campus Services department . This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Asia Campus in Singapore. This is a full on-site position and on shift roster.

You will play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for guests, participants, faculty, staff and visitors across INSEAD’s Asia Campus. As the face of INSEAD’s front office operations, you will oversee daily activities at both the Main Reception and Residences Reception, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency and a welcoming environment at every touchpoint. You will contribute to delivering a seamless, personalised and professional experience that reflects INSEAD’s reputation as The Business School for the World.
Your role within the team
- Deliver outstanding front desk services across the Main Reception and Residences Reception, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all visitors and guests.
- Manage visitor registration, access control processes and VIP parking arrangements in accordance with INSEAD policies and procedures.
- Handle incoming emails, telephone enquiries and requests efficiently, directing enquiries to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Ensure reception and lobby areas remain clean, organised and presentation-ready in line with INSEAD standards.
- Coordinate guest check-in and check-out processes and accurately process billing and payments.
- Conduct room and public area inspections to maintain high hospitality standards.
- Arrange transportation and taxi services and manage the issuance and tracking of room keycards.
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping and outsourced service providers to ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all safety, security and operational requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal clients and provide timely support and updates when required.
The ideal candidate profile
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; a Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, such as hotels, serviced residences, travel agencies or related customer-facing environments.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone handling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of Opera systems would be advantageous.
- Able to remain calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and a proactive approach to service delivery.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and accountability.

This is a 5-day a week roster system and includes the following shift schedules:
• 7am to 4pm
• 10am to 7pm
• 11am to 8pm
• 2pm to 11pm
