The Front Desk Coordinator acts as the first point of contact, managing front desk operations to ensure efficient, welcoming, and quality patient care. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, updating Electronic Health Records (EHR), handling phone calls, collecting payments, and maintaining a calm, organized reception area. The position requires strong communication skills, professionalism under pressure, and the ability to prioritize patient needs while supporting clinical flow, safety, and compliance. This role’s main focus is coordinating the front desk tasks, which requires a strong attention to detail and excellent database management skills.
This role directly supports the efficient client flow throughout the organization and works closely with the patient navigator team to integrate service delivery between the Social Services, Mental Health, and Medical teams.
