Job Description

The Front Desk Clerk will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors at the Sea Glass Tower, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role involves handling check‑ins and check‑outs, managing reservations, and providing accurate information about hotel services.

Schedule: Must be able to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.

What are we looking for?

  • Greet guests and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely, courteous manner.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
  • Adhere to security protocols and maintain confidentiality of guest information.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role preferred.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and solution‑focused under pressure.
