Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

The Richland is a boutique hotel and event venue proudly operated by 24 Carrots, a full-service, employee-owned hospitality group. We are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences while fostering a collaborative, service-driven, and people-first workplace.
The Front Desk Agent is the first impression of The Richland. This role is ideal for someone who is warm, detail-oriented, and energized by delivering exceptional guest service. You’ll manage daily front desk operations while creating a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
Greet and assist guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality
Manage guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
Handle reservations via phone, email, online, and in person
Answer guest inquiries and provide information on hotel amenities, lounge offerings, local attractions, and events
Process payments and maintain accurate reservation records
Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready and well-maintained
Issue parking passes and support lobby operations
Support service recovery efforts and resolve guest concerns promptly
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
Collaborate with sales, events, and operations teams to support occupancy and guest needs
Follow all company SOPs, safety protocols, and service standards
A friendly, professional, and dependable team player
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfortable using computers and reservation systems
Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed
Commitment to delivering service excellence
High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
Current California Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain)
Prior hospitality, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
