Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the welcoming face of our resort and a trusted resource for our guests. Every interaction is an opportunity to create a positive experience, whether you're assisting with check-ins, providing local recommendations, answering questions, or helping resolve concerns. In this role, you'll combine outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to help make every stay memorable and exceed guest expectations.

As a Front Desk Agent, You Will:

  • Warmly greet guests, manage check-in and check-out processes, and assign accommodations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide personalized assistance by answering inquiries, offering recommendations, and following up promptly when additional information is required.
  • Take ownership of guest concerns and resolve issues professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and service recovery.
  • Perform cashiering functions, including settling folios, processing payments, and posting charges accurately.
  • Handle reservations, confirmations, and modifications with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Communicate professionally with guests through phone, email, text, and in-person interactions.
  • Uphold service standards, property guidelines, and professional appearance standards that reflect the property's brand image.
  • Partner with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest and owner needs are met seamlessly.
  • Enter, assign, monitor, update, and complete work orders and inspections in Asgard, ensuring all tasks and operational activities are accurately documented, tracked, and completed.
  • Actively promote room upgrades, property amenities, and resort services while maintaining an approachable, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor in every guest interaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-oriented during busy or challenging situations.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills, including processing payments and balancing transactions.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and property management or operational systems.
  • Knowledge of hotel front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest services.
  • Understanding of guest privacy, confidentiality, and service excellence standards.
  • Willingness to learn and follow company systems, safety procedures, operational processes, and brand standards.
