Job Location: 7 Cedars Hotel - Sequim, WA 98382
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary Range: $17.76 - $20.00 Hourly

Job Shift: VariedThe Front Desk Agent is responsible for efficiently helping guests. The scope of responsibility will include, but not be limited to: guest services, reservations, safety and security of guests, cross training with housekeeping and filling in on an as need basis, gift shop/coffee shop and coordinating with other departments.
*Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Make room reservations for guests (over the phone, in person, etc.)
- Greet and check guests in and out of the hotel.
- Prepare for guest(s) arrival and ensure all paperwork is in good order.
- Coordinate and communicate with all departments to meet guests’ needs.
- Coordinate with Totem Rewards to ensure all guests are encouraged to participate in loyalty program.
- Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
- Promote 7 Cedars Casino, Longhouse Market & Deli, Cedars at Dungeness, and other Resort/Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe properties to hotel guests.
- Assist guests with booking tours and excursions with business partners.
- Master Agilysys -Visual One and interface with Revenue Management (Luxe) for maximum utilization.
- Understand and maintain reputation management.
- Resolve guest conflicts and concerns while maintaining superior customer service.
- Follow all policies and regulations.
- Core competencies in current ADA and other regulatory expectations.
- Uphold and lead others in following 7 Cedars Resort’s mission and values.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years in Hospitality field preferred.
- Casino knowledge preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with hotel teams and guests.
- Ability to promote positive relationships with guests, clients, vendors and Resort teams.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining work processes.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality software.
- Must be flexible with hours and days worked; mornings, nights, weekdays, weekends and Holidays.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TESTING
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening.
- Must be able to complete 7 Cedars Resort customer service program.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class II Gaming License.
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted Washington State Driver’s License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation including handling shifts or duties as necessary (includes all hours, weekends, and/or holidays as job duties require).
- Must be able to lift, push and carry up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
- Physical ability to access all areas of the property applicable to your position.
- Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing and twisting without restriction.
- Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Must have the ability to reach at or below/above shoulder level on a continuous basis.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with customers, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
