At HealthCARE Express, the patient experience starts before they ever see a Provider. Our Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.) team is often the first and last interaction a patient has with us, and we're looking for someone friendly, dependable, and ready to keep things moving in a busy clinic.
If you enjoy working with people, can handle multiple things at once, and know how to stay calm when the front desk gets busy, we'd love to meet you.
As a D.O.F.I., you'll help keep the front office running smoothly while making sure patients feel welcomed and taken care of. You'll greet and check in patients, verify insurance and demographic information, answer phones, collect payments, scan and maintain documentation, and help patients with questions or concerns.
You'll also communicate closely with Providers and other clinic team members, protect patient confidentiality, keep the front office organized, and step in wherever needed to help the clinic run efficiently.
We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and communication skills are important, along with basic computer skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Medical office experience is helpful, but we're also looking for someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

New hires may be required to attend a 4–5 day training session in Texarkana, Texas as part of the onboarding process.
HealthCARE Express was founded in January of 2006 in Texarkana, TX with our first clinic being located on Richmond Rd. We now own and operate urgent care facilities in the state of Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, and in recent years we expanded our model to include other practices as well. Today, we own seventeen urgent care and occupational medicine clinics, Imaging Center and an Age Management clinic.
Here at HealthCARE Express, we have focused on developing a foundation to support our growing clinics by including our own billing, marketing, and staffing metrics programs that are unique in the industry and give us a competitive advantage. In 2014, we finished a 16,000-foot expansion of our original building that allowed us to open our facility that now also houses a imaging and occupational medicine departments.
