The Front Desk Associate serves as the primary point of contact for hotel guests, providing exceptional service while managing reservations and guest services. This position requires proficiency with multiple property management systems and the ability to make informed decisions regarding room inventory, rates, and guest accommodations. The successful candidate will coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Greet and welcome hotel guests with professionalism and courtesy, establishing a positive first impression.
  • Execute check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Operate the hotel reservation system (LMS), Revenue Management System (ARMS), and Casino Management System (CMS) to process reservations and manage room inventory.
  • Analyze room availability, rates, and guest profiles to make informed decisions regarding complimentary, discounted, and full-rate room assignments.
  • Communicate with Executive Hosts regarding guest accommodations and special requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Player Development, and Food & Beverage departments to coordinate reservations for special events, gaming tournaments, promotional activities, and dining services.
  • Provide comprehensive information to guests regarding hotel amenities, casino offerings, and community attractions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

Qualifications

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Proficiency in operating property management systems, including LMS (Lodging Management System)
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to accurately input data and navigate multiple software platforms
  • Knowledge of credit card processing and electronic draft capture systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Valid government-issued identification and ability to obtain and maintain any required gaming or hospitality certifications
  • Previous front desk or guest services experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Familiarity with revenue management principles and room inventory optimization
  • Experience coordinating with multiple departments in a complex operational environment
  • Bilingual capabilities
