Gyn Oncology Specialists, A Division of BASS Medical Group ( www.gynoncspecialists.com), is a community-based medical practice that cares for high acuity, complex gynecologic and oncology patients. Our providers offer treatment planning, surgery, chemotherapy, and palliative care.

Our Los Angeles location is seeking a full-time Front & Back Office Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. This position will consist of front and back-office duties including:

· Scheduling appointments

· Responding to patient calls

· Insurance knowledge

· Data entry into Electronic Health Record (AthenaOne)

· Performing patient intake

· Assisting in office procedures

Mandatory qualifications:

· Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills

· Medical terminology

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Comfort with interacting with sick patients

· Strong computer skills

· Works well independently and as a member of a team

· Bilingual English/Spanish

Requirements:

· 1+ years Front and Back Office experience

· MA Certificate desired

Compensation will be based on experience.

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$23/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees). *
