Thai Union Group PCL

Position: Fresh graduate : Engineering

Work location:Samut Sakhon / Songkla

To design, improve, and maintain production systems for
efficiency, quality, and safety, focus on process optimization, equipment
upkeep (mechanical/electrical), product development, and ensuring compliance
with strict food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP). Roles range from Process
Engineers optimizing flow and waste, to Maintenance
Engineers fixing machinery, and Project Engineers installing new
lines, all while collaborating with food scientists and adhering to strict
health/regulatory standards.

Responsibility:

• Process Optimization: Streamlining production, reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and enhancing product quality.
• Equipment Management: Performing planned/reactive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and overseeing installation/commissioning of new machinery (PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics knowledge often required).
• Product/Process Development: Researching, formulating, and testing new products or improved processing methods (e.g., new packaging, ingredient handling).
• Quality & Safety: Ensuring systems meet stringent food safety (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and quality standards, collaborating with QC teams.
• Project Management: Managing capital projects, from conception to installation, within budget and schedule.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all food industry regulations and best practices.

Qualification:

• Education: Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Food Science) or relevant apprenticeship/qualification.
• Technical: Strong problem-solving, fault-finding, PLC, mechanical, and electrical skills.
• Soft Skills: Communication, teamwork, proactive approach, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced, often shift-based environment.
