What You'll Do

As our Billing & Logistics Specialist, you'll be a key player in ensuring our French-speaking customers receive seamless, accurate, and timely service. You'll own the full invoicing cycle, manage logistics escalations, and act as a trusted partner to both customers and internal teams.

💳 Billing & Invoicing

  • Create, process, and deliver a full range of invoices (pro-forma, intercompany, credit/re-bill, customs, cash-in-advance)

  • Upload invoices to customer and government portals; onboard Veolia onto new customer platforms

  • Collaborate with Finance and Collections teams to support credit block releases and reduce outstanding payments

  • Partner with the AP team to streamline vendor invoice management

  • Forward payment advice and perform accurate billing administration

🚚 Logistics & Order Management

  • Manage return workflows and orders end-to-end

  • Create delivery notes for third-party sales orders and support GR & IR processes

  • Coordinate with the shipping department to organize expedited shipments

  • Acquire and manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation

  • Handle tank creation and management, and resolve BNRTA issues

🤝 Account & Dispute Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for French-speaking customer queries

  • Act as a data gatekeeper — ensuring customer information is accurate and up to date in our ERP system

  • Investigate and resolve invoice disputes to support healthy cash flow

  • Conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurring billing issues and continuously improve quality

What You Bring

✅ Must-Have

  • Advanced French and English (written and spoken)

  • 2–3 years of experience in billing, logistics, order management, or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear, professional communication skills — with both internal stakeholders and external customers

  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills

  • Customer-first attitude with a sense of ownership

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to come into the Budapest office 1–2 times per week

⭐ Nice-to-Have

  • University or college degree

  • Hands-on SAP experience

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com

  • Experience in customer service or order management environments

  • Knowledge of an additional European language

  • Lean / Six Sigma or process improvement mindset
