About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented EDO Planner to join our Freight Forwarding team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating Electronic Delivery Orders (EDOs), planning container movements, and ensuring efficient scheduling between shipping lines, transport providers, and customers.

This is a fast-paced role suited to someone with strong logistics coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process Electronic Delivery Orders (EDOs) for container collections.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, depots, transport providers and internal teams to ensure timely container movements.
  • Plan and schedule container pickups and deliveries in line with operational requirements.
  • Monitor container availability, release status, and documentation requirements.
  • Resolve issues relating to EDO releases, container holds, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records in freight forwarding and logistics systems.
  • Communicate updates to customers and stakeholders regarding shipment status.
  • Ensure compliance with port, depot, and shipping line procedures.

About You

  • Previous experience in freight forwarding, transport planning, or container logistics
  • Knowledge of EDO processes and shipping line portals highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency with logistics or freight management systems and Microsoft Office.
