About Company:

Our client is a licensed Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI) and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) with nearly 50 years of experience in global freight services. The company specializes in efficient and reliable shipping solutions, leveraging its extensive expertise to meet the diverse logistics needs of its clients worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Represent and market the company's services to the local and international Markets and Businesses.
• Acquiring corporate customers, focus on large private players in the industry as well as Project Businesses.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business development opportunities to support the revenue growth.
• Responsible for achieving sales targets for the sector in Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean) for both Import and Export Markets, Transport and Container Division Businesses.
• Actively organizing sales activities and work closely with internal stakeholders to develop new initiatives to drive sales growth and support business expansion.
• Proactive to gather market intelligence, comprehend of competitors activities and ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Handle Ocean freight, Air freight for Import and Export, Inland delivery, cross border trucking.
• Monitor, motivate and organize the operation team in terms of planning, strategizing and implementing the task and duties in operations.
• Handle and ensure accuracy and timeliness on all shipping activities.
• To perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements and skills:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, preferable in business administration, marketing, logistics and/or supply chain management.
• Candidate who has sales experience in FCL, LCL consolidation, barge to major ports and forwarder market will be an added advantage.
• At least 7 year(s) of working experience related to shipping or logistics industry is required for this position.
• Strong industry knowledge, logistics requirements, market trend and proven sales track record.
• Open Communication skills and understanding of multinational business structure.
• Ability to converse in English & Mandarin professionally. 
• Must have an excellent selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Must be able to handle import/export operational and knowledge of custom related matters.
• Good computer proficiency and able to deliver PP presentations tailored to the client's needs.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong connection with shipping line, freight forwarders and counterpart.
  

Remuneration:
RM 8,000 - RM12,000
Fixed Allowance: RM1,000
