In this role, you'll:

Be a crucial part of keeping freight moving by driving data integrity, process improvement and system optimisation across freight related process flows. The position also plays a critical role in uplifting capability and efficiency while supporting the branch's alignment with broader freight reform initiatives and governance processes. You will do this by:

• Leading the documentation and mapping of intra and inter-branch processes to drive consistency, operational clarity, and business continuity.
• Engage with a range of stakeholders; both technical and non-technical, developing guidance that can ensure continuity of practice across relevant disciplines.
• Inform standards and alignment of the Asset Management Framework, in accordance with ISO55000 suite and ISO19650 where applicable.
• Developing and maintaining a structured, compliant information and records management framework aligned with legislative and policy requirements.
• Ensuring all branch documentation is standardised, current, and easily accessible to support strategic program delivery.
• Identify and implement improvements in information management practices to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Supporting change management as part of process maturity.

This is a Statewide Hybrid role and the location will be based on the candidate.

About you:

This role will require:

• Significant experience in information and records management, including knowledge of relevant standards and compliance requirements. Experience in ISO55000 and related standards is highly desired.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and management across a range of technical and non-technical disciplines.
• Extensive ability to document and map complex business processes to support operational improvement.
• Experience supporting program or portfolio delivery within a government or regulatory environment.

You will be working with highly technical internal and external stakeholders, therefore your strong communication skills, ability to be self-motivated, learn new topics quickly and understanding of the broader transport policy will be essential to this role.
