Job Description

To plan loading/offloading activities for the day and submit list to the warehouse team for execution.

To consolidate and verify data from the warehouse and input in the system for reporting purposes.

To compile and verify stock/tracking reports for clients and send them out on a daily basis as per client requirement.

To ensure all pre-alerts/transport documents are sent to relevant receiving parties and 100% filed in Alfresco.

To attend to client/vendor queries and ensure prompt feedback/solution is given in a professional manner.

To monitor commodity in transit and ensure all KPIs are met until cargo is offloaded at destination.

To co-ordinate capacity requirements for the project with capacity team on a daily basis in order to manage turnaround time of trucks/KPIs.

Conduct physical stock counts of cargo and reconcile with the Stocks Controller and appointed Inspection Company for onward reporting to the client.

The above Duties are not limited any other duties maybe assigned to you in line with the above

Minimum Qualifications

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate with a merit or higher in both Mathematics and English
  • Diploma in Transport and Logistics
  • Proficiency in computer applications (computer literate)
  • Current paid-up membership with the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (ZCILT)
  • A minimum of one (1) year of working experience in warehousing and logistics will be an added advantage
