2-Month Contract: Senior Production Manager - Experiential Events

sweetwater invites you to step into a 2-month contract role as a Senior Production Manager We are inviting a dynamic and experienced Senior Production Manager to lead our events production efforts and ensure the flawless execution of our experiential campaigns. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with clients, internal client servicing, creative teams, and a talented production crew to bring innovative event experiences to life if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Job Profile:

• Lead and oversee all production aspects of projects, ensuring the delivery of exceptional events that align with established strategic and creative objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, goals, and expectations, translating them into actionable production plans.
• Together with the project manager, you are responsible for managing multiple project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve optimal results while meeting financial targets.
• Manage project budgets and onboarding of new suppliers.
• Provide expert guidance and supervision to the production team and project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Execute multiple projects/events simultaneously, managing each stage of activation with precision and attention to detail.
• Develop a technical plan that includes equipment, infrastructure, and staffing needs and create a timeline for technical setup, rehearsals, and event day.
• Recruit and manage a technical team, including sound engineers, lighting technicians, and AV specialists, and assign roles and responsibilities based on the project.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance event production processes.
• Conduct H&S and quality control check for all projects. Ensure the quality of build, AV, and tech for the event meets or exceeds SW expectations and continuously seek ways to improve the technical aspects of future events.
• Solve production-related challenges swiftly and effectively, making real-time decisions to ensure seamless event execution.
• Establish and nurture relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to enhance project capabilities and deliver outstanding value to clients.
• Contribute to post-event evaluations, extracting insights and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in future projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience 10+ years in a similar role with top experiential/event companies in the region
• Leadership Skills Strong leadership capabilities, effective project management, and exceptional communication skills are essential for success.
• Event Expertise Demonstrated success in high-quality event production, showcasing your ability to lead high-value experiential projects. In-depth knowledge of event production technologies, trends, budgeting strategies, suppliers, and crew onboarding.
• Adaptability Thrive in fast-paced settings, ready to adapt and excel under pressure. Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
