🛠️ Department Description and responsibilities
As a Party Chief, you prepare, collect and process survey data, and ensure timely reporting of findings and any deviations to project management and site stakeholders in line with contractual and technical requirements. In this way, you contribute to safe and cost-efficient project execution.
Project scope includes:
📌 Nearshore massflow trenching and Artemis cable tracking measurements
📌 Rockbag placement
🛠️ Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- Define and install the required measurement equipment.
- Perform measurements and process data before, during and after project execution, including field checks, in accordance with specifications and project requirements.
- Verify data accuracy, analyse and interpret results, and convert findings into clear reports for project management and on-site stakeholders.
- Set up and maintain a project database.
- Monitor the functioning of measurement equipment and ensure proper maintenance in line with applicable instructions.
📝 Technical profile requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a Party Chief in marine or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment.
- Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems.
- Additional experience with subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam systems.
- Software knowledge: QINSY Offshore, QIMERA Offshore and Exail Delphins Subsea.
- Hardware knowledge: Exail GAPS USBL and beacons, Septentrio GNSS, Octans, Norbit multibeam, ROV setup and Artemis cable tracker.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate results.
- Willingness to work at different locations and adapt to project-specific needs.
📌 Certifications
- Valid OGUK medical certificate.
- Valid STCW, BOSIET or GWO certification, including First Aid, Fire Awareness and Sea Survival.
- GWO Boat Transfer (risk assessed).
- GWO Working at Height.
- GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification is required.
Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics or a related field.
📍 Eligibility to work on location (VISA/Work Permit)
You must be eligible to work on location and hold the required visa or work permit where applicable.
🌍 Languages
Fluent spoken and written English is required. Proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset.

Work is planned in rotations during the indicated project windows.

Poland
📌 Execution of the works is both inside AND outside 12NM
