About Abundo

Abundo is a cultural subscription that gives people unlimited access to their city's cultural life for a fixed monthly price. With Abundo, members can explore cinemas, theaters, concerts, comedy shows, ballet, museums, variety shows, and much more — all with one membership.

Currently active in Berlin, Hamburg, and Cologne, Abundo is expanding to Frankfurt and Munich and growing quickly. Our mission is simple: help people rediscover their cities through culture and make cultural experiences more accessible.

Think of it as Urban Sports Club for culture.

We’re a small, lean startup that has grown organically so far — and now we’re looking for additional marketing support as we expand.

The Role

We are looking for a freelance Marketing Manager (approx. 20 hours per week) to support our marketing activities across cities and channels. You will work closely with the CMO and the founding team, helping coordinate and execute marketing initiatives as Abundo continues to grow.

The role focuses on marketing coordination, campaign execution, and content-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across channels

• Support performance marketing campaigns (primarily Meta Ads)

• Plan and manage email marketing campaigns

• Brief and coordinate external collaborators

• Support content creation and social media initiatives

• Create simple marketing assets (e.g., using Canva)

• Coordinate marketing initiatives across cities

• Occasionally attend cultural events or meet partners for content creation

What We’re Looking For

• Freelance marketing professional with several years of experience

• Experience with performance marketing (Meta Ads preferred)

• Strong organizational and coordination skills

• Basic design skills (e.g., Canva) are a plus

• Interest in culture, arts, and urban life

• Comfortable working in a lean startup environment

• English fluent, German is a plus

• Based in Germany, ideally in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, or Munich
