
We are compiling a pool of English-speaking health care professionals for possible participation in a future research study related to primary mitochondrial disease and progressive neurological or muscular conditions. If you meet the criteria below, you may be invited to complete a short screening questionnaire to assess eligibility. This is a remote opportunity.
Eligibility:
Currently managing patients with:
Primary mitochondrial disease (priority), or
Progressive neurological or muscular conditions in adults (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other rare diseases)
Use the 30-second Sit to Stand test (STS) in clinical practice and/or research to assess patients
Have administered the 30-second STS at least 20 times
Fluent in English
