HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season.
As our Freelance Brand Designer (m/f/d), you will be a key driver of our global identity. You are a conceptual thinker brought on to further develop, evolve, and elevate the core HYROX brand and its growing sub-brands. Working closely with our Design Team and our global Brand and Marketing Team, you will balance big-picture visual strategy with rapid, day-to-day asset execution. Brand & Sub-Brand Evolution: Act as a creative force to further conceptualize, refine, and develop the visual identity of existing HYROX sub-brands, expanding our global design language.
Concept to Execution: Seamlessly bridge the gap between large-scale conceptual branding work and fast-paced, day-to-day asset execution for both digital/online platforms and live on-site event branding.
Creative Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Design Team to align on global design projects, brainstorm new creative perspectives, and ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Support: Partner closely with global Marketing and Brand Managers to understand their project requirements and deliver high-impact, on-brand creative solutions under tight deadlines.
Freelancer Mindset: You are an independent freelancer with flexible weekly availability, truly excited to help shape the global look of HYROX.

HYROX is a new global fitness race designed for any and every fitness enthusiast. The one-day events take place in large arenas and are comprised of 8 x 1km runs and 8 functional fitness stations. Each competitor has his/her own personal completion time to compare to everyone else around the world and improve upon in subsequent events similar to a runner in a marathon.
