Job Description

SOLVERE is seeking a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Contractor to support our organization in handling FOIA requests efficiently and effectively. The FOIA Contractor will be responsible for processing, tracking, and responding to FOIA requests in compliance with established guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of ITA Freedom of Information Act Program.
  • Conduct FOIA case review and adjudication.
  • Work cases as assigned.
  • Redline, redact and compile pages.
  • Create logs and records for cases.
  • Communicate with appropriate offices and requestors.
  • Generate monthly FOIA case reports, including the number of closed cases and cases worked.
  • Generate Annual summary of all cases closed throughout the year and any case worked regardless of closures status.
  • Provide FOIA trainings as requested to the Bureau audience.
  • Participate in DOJ FOIA trainings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with FOIA requests and related regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of FOIA laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using FOIA tracking systems and related software.
