Job Description

We are looking for a Fraud Prevention Analyst to join an exciting new prepaid card program launching in Panama.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in the payments industry who are eager to play a key role in building and launching a Fraud Prevention function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor transactions and investigate fraud alerts.

• Analyze suspicious activities and identify fraud patterns and risk indicators.

• Manage chargebacks and support fraud mitigation efforts.

• Participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of fraud prevention processes and controls.

• Help establish procedures and best practices to support the launch of the new business.

• Prepare reports and operational metrics related to fraud prevention activities.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams involved in the payments operation.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• 3–5 years of experience in fraud prevention and transaction monitoring within the payments industry.

• Previous experience in similar roles, preferably with banks, card issuers, fintech companies, or payment processors in Panama.

• Strong knowledge of transaction monitoring, fraud alert analysis, chargeback management, and fraud mitigation.

• Analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and results-oriented approach.

• Based in Panama City

• Available to work 100% on-site
