Join our digital consumer banking offer Chase at our new JPMorganChase office in the heart of Berlin. In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion, we’re looking for a passionate Fraud Operations People Lead - SAR Filing (all genders).

As a Fraud Operations People Lead - SAR Filing (all genders) in our FCOI team, you’ll lead a Specialist team as we deliver high-quality investigations and meet productivity and control standards. You’ll monitor performance metrics, coach and develop team members, and provide clear policy guidance and escalation support on complex matters. You’ll also partner across the firm to drive process improvements, implement regulatory changes, and strengthen feedback loops that improve outcomes for us and our stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the FCOI Specialist team, maintaining a detailed understanding of core tasks.
  • Monitor productivity and quality metrics, ensuring performance standards are consistently met.
  • Escalate complex matters and provide clear policy and procedure guidance to Specialists.
  • Prioritize personal workload and deliver priority items while escalating key risks/issues to management on time.
  • Collaborate with management to share knowledge with Investigation teams through root-cause/error analysis and best-practice promotion.
  • Drive process improvements and implement regulatory changes, providing SME support on key process and technology initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across the firm through proactive relationship management.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
  • Apply strong analytical and research skills with high attention to detail.
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations to identify root cause and drive issue resolution with the appropriate parties.
  • Manage time effectively, work independently, and deliver accurately under high-pressure, time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Maintain a quality-focused work ethic with a strong controls mindset and consistent adherence to procedures.
  • Adapt quickly and operate effectively in a changing environment, managing shifting priorities.
  • Coach team members and demonstrate a clear commitment to people development.
  • Communicate fluently in German and English written and spoken.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Demonstrate at least 3–4 years of AML/fraud investigation experience in the financial sector, including SAR filing (goAML).
  • Show experience communicating and coordinating with governmental authorities (e.g., FIU) to support investigations and reporting.
  • Bring prior people-management/supervisory leadership experience; retail banking experience is an advantage.
