Take Ownership

As our Fraud Expert for Partner Reports, you'll own the end-to-end handling of every fraud case that reaches bunq through an external partner, from the individual report to the systemic fix to AI-led transformation.

• Own every fraud report escalated by our partners yourself: banks, payment schemes, card networks, and other external parties flag suspicious or fraudulent activity tied to bunq accounts, and you make sure each one is investigated, resolved, and closed out with our partner, with no case falling through the cracks.
• Identify the failure patterns behind recurring or high-risk partner reports, own the structural fixes, and drive AI-led automation that lets partner-report handling scale through intelligence rather than headcount.
• Hold full KPI accountability for speed, accuracy, and partner and user satisfaction: you distinguish structural design flaws from noise, and you don't stop until the fix is permanent.

Requirements

• You have deep knowledge of Fraud Operations, investigation methodologies, and the regulatory and partner obligations that govern cross-institutional fraud reporting (card schemes, correspondent banks, cross-border requirements).
• You have hands-on experience handling complex fraud cases and escalations, including those raised by external partners.
• You know how to diagnose operational problems with data and drive permanent structural fixes, not workarounds.
• You can design and implement AI-led workflows - you build processes with AI at the core and can own an automation roadmap end-to-end.
• You're an excellent communicator and speak English fluently - partners, internal stakeholders, and users always know where things stand.
• We'd love if you have experience in fintech or another high-growth, regulated environment, ideally with exposure to partner or scheme-level fraud reporting.
