What we are looking for

The France Accounting & Treasury Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all country-level accounting, financial reporting, and treasury operations. The role oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and cash management, internal control and fiscal compliance ensuring full adherence to statutory requirements, tax regulations, and corporate accounting policies. Acting as the key liaison between the Country Finance team and regional/global functions, the Manager drives standardization, governance, and process excellence across accounting and treasury activities. By leading month-end close, safeguarding liquidity, coordinating audits, and implementing continuous improvements, this role strengthens financial reliability, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.

Key accountabilities

• Lead and develop the country’s accounting and treasury team, ensuring strong performance and clear ownership of responsibilities.
• Oversee the full accounting cycle (AP, AR, GL) and ensure timely, accurate month-end and year-end closing.
• Manage cash management and banking activities, including liquidity monitoring and treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting, tax obligations (VAT, CIT, Local taxes and Transfer Price applications), and corporate accounting policies.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring efficient and compliant audit processes.
• Safeguard internal controls, financial governance, and proper maintenance of statutory accounting books.
• Identify and drive improvements in accounting and treasury processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation.

What you’ll need

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is a plus.
• Experience managing accounting/treasury teams and full accounting cycle (AP/AR/GL).
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Understanding of tax compliance and preparation of tax declarations (VAT/CIT, Local Taxes).
• Treasury operations expertise (cash management, liquidity, banking).
• Advanced ERP and Excel proficiency.
• Experience in planning/controlling, KPIs, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated capability in process optimization, automation, and change management
• Full professional proficiency in English is a plus.
