The Labourer / Framer is responsible for operating multiple pieces of equipment inside and outside the building as well as performing a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing of pressure treated Hydro Poles.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner (Chain Saw, Wizard, Tape Measure, Drills
• Ensure products manufactured are of the required quality
• Roll, Wizzer, chain saw, measure and tag poles.
• Label parts & products clearly and accurately
• Work in compliance with all company rules and regulations
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and SOPs
• Wear all PPE required and work in a safe manner
• Participate in all company mandated training in good faith
• Come to work prepared (both mentally and materially) to work in a variety of environments
• Complete appropriate forms legibly and clearly
• Work cooperatively with a team to achieve production targets
• Maintain good housekeeping in all assigned areas
• Abide to OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) workplace health and safety standards
• Report all Health & Safety issues immediately
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Stand for significant periods of time (7 hours or more)
• Be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Able to work outside in all elements
• Good manual dexterity, hand eye co-ordination
• Comfortable completing repetitive tasks

• Ability to:

• Basic math skills
