Role : Fragrance Development Manager

Location- Mumbai

In this role for you will be driving the successful development of innovative fragrance solutions that meet customer needs, consumer preferences, and business objectives. The role partners closely with perfumers, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to lead fragrance development projects, identify market and olfactive trends, and deliver winning fragrances that strengthen customer relationships and support profitable business growth in the Haircare category.

Key Responsibilities:

• Win/Defend business profitably by leading pro-active and reactive fragrance development projects of major size & strategic importance and by developing olfactive vision at regional level.
• Define, drive, implement and follow-up relevant action plans mobilizing FDMs, perfumers and any other relevant functions ; be a solid partner to Perfumers and other stakeholders
• Master evaluation protocols.
• Ensure a testing plan is in place and executed to identify winning candidates, integrating learnings into development process.
• Support sales effort, interacting with clients, building strategic working relationships, contributing to impactful presentations to clients and acting as an olfactive advisor when required.
• Constantly develops in-depth market insights, detect olfactive trends and needs for category and turns them into concrete fragrance solutions

You bring:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in fragrance development.
• Proven track record in the Beauty category, with strong expertise in Haircare
• Solid understanding of fragrance evaluation protocols and fragrance development processes.
• Strong consumer insight analysis and the ability to translate insights into fragrance solutions.Strategic thinking with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• A collaborative approach with a winning team spirit.Passion for innovation, market trends, and creating consumer-centric fragrance experiences.
