Carrier is actively recruiting for an FP&A Specialist to join the team in Mebane, NC. Please note that this role is a Hybrid role- 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to oversee our Operational Expense (OpEx) and Cash Flow reporting, forecasting, budgeting and control. Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance, Residential Fire, and directly supporting the Sales, Marketing, Engineering and HRM organizations, the candidate will be a data driven, self-motivated, process oriented and results driven individual responsible for leading critical financial activities related to OpEx and Cash Flow. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who enjoys interacting with all levels of the organization. This is a highly visible role which offers solid career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and actual review for competency cost and key Cash Flow drivers (AR / AP)

• Support Sales, Marketing, Engineering, HRM to track and report results and develop mitigation plans to achieve financial KPI’s

• Cross competency coordination and partnering to drive improvement in forecast accuracy and results of AR / AP

• Review financial reports, P&L, balance sheet and cash flows to develop variance analysis and support month end close and forecasting

• Help prepare forecast package, analyze variances, and adjust forecasts accordingly

• Lead functional cost reporting process, prepare reports out the corporate on a quarterly basis

• Work with accounting/controllership organization support monthly closing activities by providing inputs on accruals

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a finance role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

• CPA/CMA

• Experience in Power-BI, JDE

• Working knowledge of US GAAP

• Experience in Consumer Package Goods

• Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of HFM, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong financial/cost analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills
