FP&A Manager, China

The Role

This person will work with business, coordinating with Global and Regional FP&A to establish a reporting and analysis platform in China that meet management requirements - timely, accurate analysis and actions follow up.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the Financial Planning and Analysis team within the finance organization.
  • Analyse current and past trends in all areas including revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditure.
  • Prepare the annual budgets and rolling forecast for business group and supply chain platform.
  • Monitor budget and rolling forecast, performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
  • Lead regular discussions with business operations management and supply chain management to discuss actuals vs budgets and drive actions (if necessary)
  • Support business by giving recommendations to structure deals, and in compliances with company policies and local regulations.
  • Deeper understanding of work connections between FP&A team and all other functions (controlling, business, supporting functions) within the organization
  • Analyse current FP&A job scopes and identify the future improvement areas.
  • Support finance transformation plans implementation within the organization
  • Uses ML (coding or non coding) solution to improve automatization for forecast, commission calculation and other routing FP&A jobs when applicable.
  • Review and submit monthly management reporting on time.
  • Review and approve all non-production purchase requests.
  • Review customer contracts and propose alternatives where applicable.
  • Responsible for sales commission calculation.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor degree or MBA in Finance or Accounting
  • ERP experience should must have, SAP experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese (written and verbal).
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with different departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
  • Logical and analytical, with business acumen
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
