Que harás

This role is responsible for ensuring that all Actuals, Business Plan/LBEs budgets, LongRange Plans are developed, consolidated, and submitted with rigor aligned to Abbott’s standards. The FP&A Manager: Reporting, Consolidation & P&L Management will drive financial rigor, enhance forecasting accuracy, and support strategic initiatives to optimize growth and profitability in the Country.

This role serves as the primary thought partner and right hand to the Country Finance Director. Ownership, voice, and accountability is expected. Success in this role requires strong business judgment, maturity, and the ability to translate financial complexity into clear priorities and actions. This position requires comfort with ambiguity, confidence to challenge/advise at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the quarterly financial forecasts (LBE), and long-range strategic planning (OEM) for the country.
  • Consolidate financial submissions from channels/admin/operations, ensuring alignment with corporate timelines, standards, and reporting accuracy.
  • Conduct scenario planning to assess risks and opportunities across the region.

Management Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver monthly actual performance packages, including variance analysis, KPIs, and executive-ready commentaries.
  • Identify drivers of revenue and margin performance (product margin & off-profile analysis), SG&A and gross to net efficiency across TAs.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Business Partnering Across the Affiliate

  • Partner with local Finance peers, Local Leadership, Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Challenges pricing initiatives, go-to-market changes, product mix shifts, and gross to net prioritization.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, operational efficiencies, and local investment cases.

Financial Governance & Standardization

  • Strengthen financial controls and ensure alignment with local/region/global requirements.
  • Drive process harmonization and reporting consistency between local finance peers.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor and guide team fostering capability-building across local finance organization.
  • Promote adoption of digital tools (Power BI, planning systems [SAC], data automation) and analytics best practices.
  • Encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing between country finance teams.

Cualificaciones requeridas

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, CMA, or local equivalents preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive finance experience managing financial performance/FP&A of a business unit or complex operation
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, including Country Leadership and Regional Finance.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data for senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English required and ability to address and communicate to all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with ERP and planning systems and advanced Excel / Power BI skills.
  • Proven knowledge of both US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong Financial and business acumen, ideally with experience in the Consumer industry.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to delivering
