Our FP&A Lead - Consumer & Digital Banking, serves as a key partner to senior management in defining, measuring, and reporting on performance of critical financial and strategic objectives. Provide management with information and analysis to enable superior business decisions and support the financial data needs of business leaders. Specifically, this role will work with line of business leadership to ensure that the financial performance against the strategic metrics and other financial goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the forecasting of Texas Capital’s Consumer Banking, Digital Banking, Events/Marketing, and Sales Enablement budgets, including incorporation of key strategic initiatives, their financial impacts and tracking performance towards line of business and company-wide objectives.
  • Work closely and partner with key functional areas and leadership teams across the organization (Lines of Business, Enterprise Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, Corporate Treasury, and Human Resources) to understand key business trends and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Partner with the Consumer Banking, Digital Banking, and product organizations to build and stress-test financial models for new digital and consumer products and services—directly supporting go/no-go decisions that impact our market position.
  • Leverage financial data and business intelligence tools to uncover trends and present findings that influence C-suite strategy.
  • Build strong business partnerships at multiple levels while informing and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Organize complex information in a compelling way, demonstrating design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Mentor and develop junior financial analysts; serve as a resource for ad-hoc analysis, training, and best-practice sharing across the broader Finance organization

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in business or related field.
  • 5+ years supporting a finance department, FP&A, Corporate/Enterprise Finance or similar financial analysis experience.
  • Initiative to identify business questions, scope and logically structure an analysis, extract relevant insights, and communicate with a point-of-view.
  • Advanced ability to run complex reports, synthesize analysis and articulate the conclusions through verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to self-direct and manage competing priorities on concurrent large, complex projects, initiatives, and deliverables.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, financial reporting tools and financial software.
