About the role
As an FP&A Jr. Manager – Manufacturing, you will be a critical finance partner to our U.S. manufacturing operations, driving insight, discipline, and performance across multiple plants. In this highly visible role, you’ll combine deep financial expertise with operational acumen to support productivity initiatives, inform decision‑making, and ensure strong financial stewardship. Your work will directly impact factory performance, cost efficiency, and long‑term value creation for Carrier and our customers.
Based in Monterrey, Mexico, this role reports directly to the FP&A Manager in the U.S. and operates in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment where accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement are essential.
Key Responsibilities
As an FP&A Jr. Manager – Manufacturing, you’ll be responsible for:
• Leading the monthly FP&A cycle, including forecasting, annual planning, and close/actuals analysis for manufacturing sites
• Delivering clear, actionable financial insights to plant leadership by identifying risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers
• Partnering with operations and engineering to identify, evaluate, and track productivity and cost‑reduction initiatives, including business case development and benefit validation
• Serving as the primary finance partner to Plant Managers, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial Finance, translating operational metrics into financial impact
• Overseeing inventory reporting, valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance, and working‑capital optimization
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of FP&A or manufacturing finance experience, ideally supporting plant operations
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and operational KPIs
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities, with experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and influence decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or complex operational environments
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
• CPA, CMA, and/or MBA credentials
