Job Description

Pi-Cardia, a dynamic medical device startup specializing in cardiovascular innovations, is looking for a FP&A Associate to join our team. This position supports the company’s financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, valuation analysis, and investor-related materials. The role involves assisting with budget preparation and monitoring, cap table and financial model management, due diligence processes, and preparation of presentations and materials for management, board members, shareholders, and potential investors.

  • Preparation of short-term and long-term budget, budget versus actual expenses reports and analysis and budget review
  • Preparing cap tables, pro-forma cap tables, options tables
  • Preparing evaluation of companies/activities and securities
  • Assisting in preparing DD materials: setting up data rooms with materials on market, technology, work-plan and budget and financial matters etc
  • Assisting in preparation of materials for management, board and shareholders meetings and communications
  • Assisting in preparing materials for potential investors and strategic partners

Requirements

  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting - must
  • Excellent Excel and Office skills – must
  • Previous employment experience of two years – an advantage
  • Exceptionally intelligent and able to enter new disciplines and learn quickly
  • Independent, with sense of ownership and self-driven
  • Hardworking and able to perform multi-tasking
  • Extremely well organized
  • Good personal relations and ability to work in a team and communicate with people from different cultures
  • Excellent English, especially for business writing
