Job Description

At Den Berk Délice, we build strong flavours, innovative concepts and sustainable growth every day. As the market leader in concepts, branding and taste, and a top three player in specialty tomatoes in at least six European countries, we operate internationally and are driven every day to do even better. You can feel that ambition not only in our greenhouses, but also behind the scenes, including within our finance team.

To support our continued growth with better and faster insights, we are looking for an FP&A Analyst with a background in finance and controlling and a strong affinity for data. You will further develop our reporting and dashboards, automate processes where possible, and translate financial and operational data into clear analyses and actionable recommendations. This role offers plenty of opportunity to contribute to the further professionalisation of our reporting, planning and performance management processes, while helping to shape key business decisions.

Your Role

As an FP&A Analyst, you will be part of the central finance team and report directly to the Group Controller. You act as the bridge between finance, operations and data, supporting management and leadership with reliable insights that enable faster and better decision-making.

You combine traditional FP&A responsibilities, such as budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, with a strong focus on performance management, dashboarding and data analysis. Working closely with the controlling team, you help ensure the quality of underlying data and models. Your focus lies in analysing performance, identifying trends and opportunities, and developing management information that enables the business to look ahead and make informed adjustments.

In addition, you collaborate with data analysts who have a more technical background. While they build the underlying data models and pipelines, you develop the finance reporting, dashboards and analyses on top of them. When needed, you dive into the data yourself: cleaning data, investigating discrepancies and tracing variances back to their source.

Responsibilities

As an FP&A Analyst, you play a key role in strengthening the financial management of our group. You combine strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset and actively contribute to building a future-focused, data-driven organisation.

  • You develop and maintain financial planning models, including multi-year cash flow forecasts, budgets and scenario planning models, which serve as the foundation for strategic decision-making.
  • You optimise and professionalise financial reporting and KPI dashboards, ensuring that management and shareholders always have access to relevant, actionable insights.
  • You translate operational and financial data into clear analyses and practical recommendations that support improved performance and targeted decision-making.
  • You analyse trends, returns and key business drivers, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • You identify opportunities for digitalisation and automation and help implement them within financial processes. You actively contribute ideas for the further development of the reporting, planning and data environment.
  • You safeguard the quality, reliability and consistency of data and reporting across the group.
  • You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Engineering, or a related field, or have gained equivalent expertise through experience.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or audit, giving you a solid understanding of how financial figures are generated and interpreted.
  • You have a strong affinity for data and reporting. You are highly proficient in Excel, can independently build reports and dashboards in Power BI, and are comfortable working with Power Query. Knowledge of SQL or other data solutions is considered a plus. You enjoy building your own analyses, although you are not expected to be a data engineer.
  • Experience with data analysis, KPI development, and management reporting is a strong asset, as is experience using AI tools or AI agents to accelerate data analysis and reporting processes. If you have not worked with these technologies yet, you are eager to learn.
  • You are analytically strong and highly structured, with an eye for both detail and the bigger picture. You combine a critical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and are committed to understanding variances down to their root cause.
  • You can translate complex information into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders, work independently and proactively, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines.
  • You will join an ambitious and fast-growing Belgian company with an international footprint.
  • A role with real responsibility and impact, where you will actively contribute to the further development of our Finance organization.
  • Close collaboration with the CFO, Group Controller, and the central Finance team, offering plenty of opportunities to learn and grow in your role.
  • A dynamic work environment with short decision-making lines, a pragmatic approach, and room for initiative.
  • Training and development opportunities tailored to your experience and ambitions.
  • Naturally, this position comes with a competitive salary package complemented by other attractive benefits.
